What does it mean to dream about Anna Kingsford?

Anna Kingsford was a famous follower of the occult. She was an asset to society and her dreams are detailed in her diary. Her co-worker named Maitland wrote many lies about her. Over the years she turned against her and ruined her reputation. Her biggest outrage was writing that she killed two French vivisectionists using mental techniques.
This is what she remembers in her dream:
The following excerpt was taken from Anna Kingsford’s diary, her 1888 dreams. It also provides an entertaining overview of what it was like in those days…here we go: Having slept last night, while in a state of great perplexity about care and education of my daughter, I dreamed the following. He was walking with the girl along the edge of a high cliff, at the foot of which was the sea. The path was very narrow, and on the inside it was flanked by a line of rocks and stones. The outer side was so close to the edge of the cliff that she was forced to walk either before me or on the stones. And, as it was not safe to leave her hand, it was on the stones that she had to walk, much to her dismay. I was dressed as a man and had a cane in my hand. He wore skirts and had no cane; and every time she stumbled or her dress caught and was dragged by some protruding boulder or bramble. In this way our progress was continually interrupted and made almost impossible, when suddenly we came upon a sharp decline which led us down a steep path whose wounds made the side of the precipice to the beach below. Looking down, I saw on the shore below the cliff a collection of fishermen’s shacks, and groups of women on the shingle, mending nets, bringing up boats, and sorting fish of various kinds. In the middle of the little town was a large lead crucifix, cast in a mold that enabled me, from my elevated position behind it, to see that although it appeared solid from the front, it was actually hollow. As I was watching him, a voice from someone nearby suddenly addressed me, and turning my head, I found before me a man dressed as a fisherman, who had evidently just climbed the steep path I was following, there was only room for one. “Let her come to us,” he added, “she will do very well as a fisherman’s daughter.” Reluctant to part with her, and then not perceiving the meaning of her dress and vocation, I objected that the vocation was dirty and unpleasant. , and that she would dirty her hands and dress. The man became a servant and seemed to insist with a kind of authority that I accept his proposal. The girl was also taken with him, and moreover she was anxious to leave the rough and dangerous path, so she went to him of her own free will and, putting her hand in his, left me without any sign of repentance, and went on my way. I walk alone.
Anna Kingsford 1888:
This dream is clearly about your betrayal in terms of the relationship you had with your co-worker. The narrow path shows that she has been following a spiritual path of development. The girl shows that she is afraid to take the path further but she must do it to progress in her spiritual life.
